Vintage Ladies 1940's Cut work Embroidered Eyelet Lace Ruffled Dickie / Camisole Rare

It's very rare to find a ladies 1940's lace dickie in such great condition! This lovely white dickie has a voile front, with gorgeous cut work, embroidered cotton eyelet lace, ruffled in the center, with voile and lace edging surrounding it. The back is cotton fabric, with a snap closure at the neckline. Two string ties
are are on the bottom corners of the front and back, to tie at the side, for approximately small to medium size. Larger ladies, like myself, would have to add length to the string ties, or leave them tucked in at the waistband, of a skirt, or slacks. The only imperfection was a tiny worn area, toward the bottom,
that I closed with fabri-tac. I washed the dickie by hand when I received it.
The cloth tag reads: Originals by Maison France. It is 18" long from the shoulder to the bottom, and 9 1/4" across the front. This lovely dickie would add a vintage touch to a blazer, vest, or jacket, and be cooler than a full camisole.
