If you like the unusual antique item, and are a luver of 1920's - 1930's fabrics, then you will enjoy this Chinese Man Laundry / Lingerie Bag! This scowling little man measures 29" long, from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet. It is 16" across the front, measured underneath his cape. His face
is hand embroidered in black, and makes a nice contrast against the soft pink, and patterned floral feedsack fabrics. There is gold colored edging around his ankles, hat, collar, and cape. There is a string tie at the top of his hat, for attaching him to a hook, or hanger.
He was soaked in my vintage mixture, and dried outside on the line, making him look almost brand new! He's very handy for putting your unmentionables in until laundry time! This laundry bag may not be politically correct for today, but he reminds me of the Charlie Chan Mystery Movies of yester year!
